Sephora is hiring a People Operations Officer in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia — mid-level HR role focused on HRIS, payroll, onboarding and employee lifecycle.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain and update accurate, confidential employee records and personnel files across the HR lifecycle.
- Prepare, manage and record employment-related documentation for hires, transfers, promotions and terminations.
- Support end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure seamless transitions and compliance.
- Enter, update and reconcile employee data within Sephora & LVMH HR systems and other HRIS/payroll platforms.
- Generate HR reports and metrics; support system troubleshooting, testing and enhancements to improve data integrity.
- Contribute payroll inputs and benefits administration, respond to employee queries on payroll, benefits and leave.
- Act as a first point of contact for HR operational enquiries and escalate complex matters to the People Operations Manager.
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws and assist with audit preparation and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and implement operational best practices; support ad-hoc People Operations projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of HR experience within an international organization.
- Proven familiarity with HR systems and payroll platforms (HRIS, payroll systems).
- Solid knowledge of HR processes and local labor law compliance.
- High integrity when handling confidential information and strong attention to data accuracy.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and collaborate effectively across stakeholders.
- Proactive, results-oriented attitude with an aptitude for process improvement.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in an international organisation, with hands-on responsibility for HR operations, HRIS data entry and payroll/benefits administration.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
