Sephora Canada (Richmond Hill) is hiring a Part-Time Paid Services Beauty Advisor at Hillcrest — hourly role with training and performance bonuses.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide personalized beauty consultations to assess clients' goals and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Deliver customized beauty services including makeup application and basic skincare treatments while adhering to health and hygiene standards.
- Demonstrate product application techniques and educate clients on routines and product benefits.
- Manage bookings and rebooking of beauty services, ensuring a smooth client flow at the Beauty Studio.
- Stay current with beauty trends, new product launches and brand activations to inform client conversations.
- Contribute to sales and promotional events to drive client engagement and achieve store sales targets.
- Create an inclusive, welcoming client experience and maintain high standards of professionalism and presentation.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years' experience in retail sales or beauty services.
- Solid knowledge of trending beauty products and makeup/skincare techniques.
- Demonstrated passion for client service and sales.
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability to work peak retail hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Consistent, reliable attendance and the physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years' prior experience in retail sales or services, with demonstrable exposure to makeup application or skincare services preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetics or related certification preferred where applicable.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada, with easy access to Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 20.20 to CAD 23.20 per hour.
