Sephora Canada — Paid Services Beauty Advisor (Part-time) in Grande Prairie, AB. Provide makeup and skincare services at the Beauty Studio and deliver client consultations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations to assess clients’ skin, preferences and goals and recommend products and services tailored to individual needs.
- Perform paid Beauty Studio services, including makeup application and basic skincare treatments, while adhering to health, safety and hygiene standards.
- Demonstrate product application techniques and educate clients on home skincare and makeup routines to drive product adoption and repeat bookings.
- Manage bookings, rebook clients, and maintain an organized schedule to maximize daily service capacity.
- Support store sales initiatives and promotional events by actively engaging customers, upselling services and contributing to store targets.
- Stay current with product launches, brand partnerships and beauty trends to provide authoritative advice and maintain product knowledge.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of prior experience in retail sales or beauty services, preferably in cosmetics, makeup or skincare.
- Practical knowledge of contemporary beauty trends and prestige beauty products.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach to service and sales.
- Flexible availability to work peak retail hours, weekends and evenings as required.
- Consistent, reliable attendance and ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience
Entry-level to early-career candidate with approximately 1–3 years of retail sales or beauty services experience; hands-on experience providing makeup or skincare services is an asset.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; cosmetology, esthetician or certified makeup training considered an asset.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18 to CAD 20.60 per hour.
