Sephora — Packaging Regulatory Affairs Assistant (work‑study) in Neuilly‑sur‑Seine. 1‑year alternance position supporting PPWR implementation and packaging compliance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support implementation of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) within Sephora Collection.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure PPWR requirements are integrated into the new packaging management tool.
- Liaise with packaging suppliers to collect regulatory documentation and technical dossiers required for material validation.
- Participate in validation of packaging materials and in launch of migration studies to confirm food‑contact compliance where applicable.
- Contribute to completion and accuracy of packaging data within the internal packaging system.
- Assist in establishing and monitoring a control plan for substances of very high concern (SVHC) in packaging and accessories.
- Provide cross‑functional regulatory support on projects relating to raw materials in formulas and finished cosmetic products.
Qualifications
- Enrolment in a higher education programme in packaging development, materials science related to packaging, or cosmetic regulatory affairs.
- Strong interest in regulatory affairs, packaging materials and the cosmetics sector.
- Fluent written and spoken French and English, comfortable working in an international environment.
- Organised, rigorous and able to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced context.
