Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-store surveillance and utilize CCTV systems to identify, observe, and deter theft.
  • Adhere to Sephora's policies regarding arrests, seizures, and evidence preservation.
  • Prepare reports on theft incidents, merchandise recovery, accident investigations, and audits.
  • Testify in court for criminal or civil cases as required.
  • Provide training to new hires and employees on loss prevention strategies.
  • Perform store audits and security inspections.
  • Assist store management with inventory preparation and processes.
  • Collaborate with store and district loss prevention managers to develop and execute loss prevention plans.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in asset protection or loss prevention in a retail environment.
  • Meet and maintain licensing requirements as mandated by provincial or local authorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including listening, interviewing, and interpersonal communication.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Capability to work across multiple stores within a market. Proficiency in loss prevention techniques and strategies. Strong observational and analytical skills.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.
