Sephora UK is hiring an Operations Supervisor in Newcastle (Eldon Square) to lead stock, cash and loss‑prevention operations for the store.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train and coach Beauty Advisors on stockroom processes, cash handling and operational standards to ensure consistent execution and team confidence.
  • Oversee all cash operations including tills, daily reconciliations, safe management, deposits and audits to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage inventory control: receiving, inspecting and processing deliveries, monitoring stock levels and executing replenishment to maintain full sales‑floor availability.
  • Lead loss‑prevention activities through regular stock audits, discrepancy investigations and corrective actions.
  • Optimise stockroom layout, flow and procedures to improve operational efficiency during peak trading periods.
  • Analyse operational and cash KPIs, identify performance gaps and implement targeted action plans to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support store leadership with employee relations processes including attendance, performance management and follow‑up actions.
  • Contribute to new store opening activities where applicable, including unboxing, organising and preparing initial stock.
  • Maintain a safe, organised and compliant store and stockroom environment aligned to company standards.
  • Provide occasional customer support and product recommendations to uphold service standards when required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years' retail supervisory or management experience with demonstrable responsibility for stock and cash operations.
  • Proven experience coaching and developing retail teams.
  • Practical knowledge of stock management systems and retail technology.
  • Proven experience handling employee relations matters such as attendance and performance.
  • Strong organisational aptitude with meticulous attention to detail in fast‑paced trading environments.
  • Demonstrable understanding of loss‑prevention, safety protocols and inventory accuracy.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and peak trading periods.

Experience
