Operations Manager, Stores at Sephora Canada in Toronto—oversee retail operations, inventory, and team leadership at flagship Yorkdale location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead all operational processes and ensure adherence to company standards across inventory management, receiving, shipping, and cycle counting
- Directly manage and develop members of the operations team, overnight stock team, and operations leadership, providing performance feedback and coaching
- Oversee visual merchandising concepts and on-stage displays, managing in-house and third-party cleaning crews to maintain brand standards
- Manage supply budget, testers, and samples inventory to support store operations
- Participate in performance management and staff development initiatives, ensuring timely feedback and follow-up
- Act as Manager on Duty and engage with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor to support client experience
- Develop and execute budget strategies, demonstrating expertise in sales performance analysis, staffing, payroll management, and controllable store expenses
Qualifications
- Two to four years' experience in a similar operations management role at a comparable-volume store or equivalent internal retail experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence business partners at all levels
- Proven ability to build and attract talented store leadership capable of training and developing teams to drive sales and deliver exceptional client service
- Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment and perform physical duties including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and stocking shelves
