Sephora in Washington DC seeks an Operations Leader. Full-time hourly role ($28–$32/hr) leading store operations, inventory and team coaching.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, replenishment and order fulfillment to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
- Drive brand presentation through visual merchandising execution, promotional setup and routine store maintenance.
- Lead, coach and develop the operations team to meet performance metrics, operational standards and commercial objectives.
- Support and enhance the client experience by partnering with sales teams to deliver seamless service and reach store goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, loss-prevention procedures and health & safety standards.
- Manage scheduling requirements and meet required weekly shifts; maintain punctuality and reliable attendance during peak retail periods (nights, weekends, holidays).
- Perform physical duties as required, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in retail operations, hospitality, or a closely related environment.
- Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop hourly retail teams to achieve operational and sales objectives.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational aptitude and effective problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; punctual and dependable attendance.
- Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years of leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality with demonstrated success coaching teams, managing inventory/merchandising processes and meeting operational KPIs.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or a bachelor's degree in business, retail management or hospitality is a plus.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 28 to USD 32 per hour.
