Sephora (Skokie, IL) seeks an Operations Leader to oversee inventory, merchandising and team coaching. $26–$30/hr, full-time, hourly role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, replenishment and order fulfillment to ensure product availability and operational efficiency.
  • Lead visual merchandising and promotional execution to maintain brand presentation and drive sales.
  • Coach, train and develop the operations team on selling behaviours, operational procedures and performance metrics.
  • Support delivery of an exceptional client experience by partnering with sales teams and upholding store service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards and maintain a clean, well-maintained selling environment.
  • Manage scheduling expectations, meet required weekly hours (30–40), and be available for peak retail periods including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of leadership experience in retail operations, hospitality or a closely related environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop frontline teams to achieve operational and sales goals.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and effective problem-solving under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to foster a collaborative, accountable team culture.
  • Availability for flexible scheduling and consistent punctuality/attendance.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required.

Experience

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 26 to USD 30 per hour.
