Sephora (Skokie, IL) seeks an Operations Leader to oversee inventory, merchandising and team coaching. $26–$30/hr, full-time, hourly role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, replenishment and order fulfillment to ensure product availability and operational efficiency.
- Lead visual merchandising and promotional execution to maintain brand presentation and drive sales.
- Coach, train and develop the operations team on selling behaviours, operational procedures and performance metrics.
- Support delivery of an exceptional client experience by partnering with sales teams and upholding store service standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards and maintain a clean, well-maintained selling environment.
- Manage scheduling expectations, meet required weekly hours (30–40), and be available for peak retail periods including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of leadership experience in retail operations, hospitality or a closely related environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop frontline teams to achieve operational and sales goals.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and effective problem-solving under pressure.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to foster a collaborative, accountable team culture.
- Availability for flexible scheduling and consistent punctuality/attendance.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required.

Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality, with a track record of coaching teams, managing inventory workflows and maintaining operational standards in a fast-paced store environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework in business, retail management or hospitality is a plus.

The successful candidate will be located in Skokie, Illinois, USA, with easy access to Chicago.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 26 to USD 30 per hour.
