Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the store operations team to ensure consistent execution of daily operational tasks and high performance.
- Oversee inventory management, replenishment, receiving, order fulfillment and stock accuracy to minimise shrink and support sales.
- Direct visual merchandising and promotional implementation to maintain brand standards and maximise conversion.
- Manage store maintenance, safety compliance and operational standards to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Support scheduling and staffing to guarantee coverage during peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).
- Monitor and report on operational KPIs; identify process improvements and drive corrective actions.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative team environment focused on accountability, development and client service excellence.
- Perform physical tasks as required, including lifting and moving merchandise (up to 50 pounds).
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality; 3+ years preferred.
- Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop retail teams to meet operational and sales objectives.
- Strong organizational aptitude with meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
- Flexible availability to work full-time hours (30–40 hours/week) including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Reliable punctuality and ability to meet the store's minimum weekly shift requirements.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality, with demonstrated success coaching teams, managing inventory and executing visual merchandising; 3+ years preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework or credential in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
