Sephora in Palo Alto, USA is hiring an Operations Leader (full-time hourly, $28–$34.30/hr) to oversee store operations and lead the operations team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, replenishment, receiving and order fulfilment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Lead and coach the operations team, providing training on processes, selling behaviours, performance metrics and company initiatives.
- Execute visual merchandising standards, promotional setups and ensure overall store presentation and maintenance align with brand expectations.
- Support the client experience by partnering with the sales team to deliver exceptional service and contribute to achieving store sales goals.
- Enforce company policies and safety standards to create a secure, welcoming shopping environment.
- Manage scheduling expectations and ensure coverage during peak periods (nights, weekends, holidays).
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality; proven ability to lead, coach and develop teams.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem‑solving, organizational and time‑management skills.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; adept at motivating a goal‑driven, collaborative team culture.
- Availability to work a full‑time schedule (30–40 hours/week) with flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays; reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required.

Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality, with documented success in team development, inventory oversight and execution of store operational standards.
Education
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or retail/management certification preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 28 to USD 34.30 per hour.
