Sephora Palo Alto (Stanford Shopping Center) seeks an Operations Leader — full-time hourly role $28–$34.30/hr leading store operations and teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day store operations including inventory management, replenishment, order fulfilment and adherence to operational standards.
- Lead visual merchandising and execution of promotional events to uphold brand presentation and drive sales.
- Coach, mentor and develop operations and sales team members to improve performance and progression.
- Partner with store leadership to deliver exceptional client service and contribute to achieving store sales and KPI targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, loss-prevention procedures and store maintenance to provide a safe shopping environment.
- Manage scheduling expectations, punctuality and staffing coverage for peak periods including nights, weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality; 3+ years preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop teams to achieve measurable results.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and practical problem-solving ability.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Availability for flexible scheduling and consistent attendance; ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required by store operations.
Skills
Experience
At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality is required; 3+ years preferred. Proven track record of coaching teams, managing inventory processes and executing visual merchandising initiatives.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary coursework or degree in business, retail management or hospitality preferred.
