Sephora (Meatpacking, New York) seeks an Operations Leader — full-time, $28–$32/hr — lead inventory, merchandising and store operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, replenishment, receiving and order fulfillment to ensure operational standards are met.
  • Lead visual merchandising and in-store promotional execution to uphold brand presentation and drive sales.
  • Coach, develop and motivate the operations team; train staff in operational processes, selling behaviours and performance metrics.
  • Partner with sales and client-facing teams to support an exceptional client experience and achieve store goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures and loss-prevention protocols.
  • Manage flexible scheduling to meet store staffing needs, including nights, weekends and holiday coverage.
  • Perform physical tasks as required (able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds).

Qualifications

  • Minimum leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality (see experience field).
  • Proven ability to coach and develop team members to achieve operational and sales objectives.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to foster a collaborative, accountable culture.

Experience
