Sephora hiring an Operations Leader in East Rutherford, NJ — full-time store operations role at American Dream, $28–$36/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day store operations including inventory control, replenishment, receiving and order fulfillment to ensure product availability and operational efficiency.
- Lead visual merchandising and promotional set-ups to maintain brand standards and maximize sales conversion.
- Coach, mentor and develop the operations team to improve performance, adherence to processes and career progression.
- Support the client-facing team to deliver exceptional customer service and contribute to store sales and KPI attainment.
- Maintain operational compliance with company policies, safety procedures and loss-prevention protocols.
- Manage staffing and scheduling to meet minimum weekly hours and ensure coverage during peak periods (nights, weekends, holidays).
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality; 3+ years preferred.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop frontline teams to achieve operational and sales objectives.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving skills with effective time-management.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to foster a collaborative, accountable culture.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required by store operations.

Experience
At least 2 years of leadership experience in a retail or hospitality environment; 3+ years preferred, with demonstrated success in store operations, inventory control and team development.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or retail/management certifications preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 28 to USD 36 per hour.
