Sephora — Operations Leader in Deerfield, IL. Full-time retail role overseeing inventory, merchandising and team leadership. $26–$34/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, replenishment, receiving and order fulfillment to ensure accuracy and availability.
  • Lead visual merchandising, promotional setups and store maintenance to uphold Sephora brand standards and drive conversion.
  • Coach, train and develop the operations team on selling behaviours, operational processes, performance metrics and company initiatives.
  • Partner with sales teams to deliver exceptional client experience and contribute to achieving store sales and service goals.
  • Enforce company policies, health & safety standards and loss-prevention practices to create a safe shopping environment.
  • Manage scheduling expectations and maintain reliable attendance; be available for peak retail hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Perform physical tasks as required, including lifting and moving product up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality; 3+ years preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and motivate teams to achieve performance and customer-service objectives.
  • Strong organizational aptitude with keen attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster an inclusive, team-oriented culture.
  • Demonstrated time-management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform occasional physical tasks on the salesfloor and stockroom.

Experience
