Sephora seeks an Operations Leader in Danbury, CT to lead store operations and inventory. Hourly $26–$30/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, replenishment and order fulfillment to ensure accuracy and availability.
  • Lead and execute visual merchandising, promotional setups and store maintenance to maintain Sephora brand standards and drive sales.
  • Coach, mentor and develop store operations team members on operational processes, selling behaviours and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to support exceptional client experience and contribute to achieving store goals and KPIs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, loss-prevention procedures and health & safety standards.
  • Manage staffing reliability and flexible scheduling to meet peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays) and maintain consistent attendance.
  • Perform physical tasks as required, including lifting and carrying inventory (up to 50 pounds).

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality, with proven ability to lead and develop teams.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Effective time-management and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate a goal-driven, collaborative team culture.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality, with a track record of coaching teams and managing inventory/merchandising processes.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management, or related field preferred.
