Sephora Danbury, CT — Operations Leader (full-time). Lead store operations, inventory and team coaching. $26–$30/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, replenishment and order fulfillment to ensure operational standards are met
- Lead visual merchandising and promotional set-ups to uphold brand presentation and drive sales
- Coach, train and develop operations team members on procedures, selling behaviours and performance expectations
- Support the store team in delivering exceptional client service and contributing to store sales goals
- Maintain store maintenance and safety standards to create an enjoyable shopping experience
- Manage scheduling, punctuality expectations and coverage during peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays)
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality; 3 years preferred
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop front-line teams to achieve operational and commercial objectives
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to motivate a collaborative, accountability-driven culture
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required
- Availability for flexible scheduling and consistent attendance to meet a 30–40 hour full-time schedule
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality; 3 years preferred, with demonstrated success coaching teams and managing day-to-day store operational workflows.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in business, retail management or related field preferred.
