Sephora in Cary, NC is hiring an Operations Leader to manage store operations, inventory and team coaching. Hourly $24–$31/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day store operations including inventory management, replenishment, order fulfillment and loss prevention to ensure operational excellence.
- Lead visual merchandising and promotional execution to maintain brand presentation and drive sales.
- Coach, train and develop the operations team to improve selling behaviours, operational processes and performance against KPIs.
- Manage staffing and scheduling to meet coverage requirements during peak periods (nights, weekends, holidays).
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and store maintenance to deliver a consistently excellent client experience.
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture focused on accountability and results.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality, with proven team management and coaching skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, solve operational problems and maintain strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; able to motivate and develop a diverse team.
- Availability for scheduled shifts including nights, weekends and holidays and reliable attendance.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality, with a track record of developing teams and managing inventory and store standards.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Cary, North Carolina, USA, with easy access to Raleigh.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 24 to USD 31 per hour.
