Sephora seeks an Operations Leader to oversee store operations, inventory, merchandising, order fulfillment and team development in Burlingame, California. This permanent, full-time role requires 30–40 hours per week, including availability for nights, weekends and holidays; pay is $28.00–$32.20 per hour.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee inventory management, replenishment and order fulfillment, and ensure operational standards are met.
- Lead visual merchandising, promotional events and store maintenance to uphold Sephora’s brand presentation and drive sales.
- Partner with the team to deliver exceptional client service and contribute to store goals.
- Guide and train team members in operational processes, selling behaviors, performance metrics and company initiatives.
- Promote an inclusive culture of openness where everyone feels empowered.
- Follow company policies and help create a safe, enjoyable shopping experience.
- Lead the operations team and coach colleagues to perform at their best.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of leadership experience in a similar role, preferably in retail operations or hospitality; 3 years minimum experience.
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop teams to achieve goals.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Effective time management and ability to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Availability for the required minimum number of weekly shifts and hours, including peak retail periods, nights, weekends and holidays.
