Sephora seeks an Operations Leader in Beverly Hills, CA — full-time hourly role overseeing inventory, merchandising and team leadership.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day store operations including inventory management, replenishment, order fulfillment and loss prevention to ensure operational efficiency.
- Lead visual merchandising and promotional execution to maintain brand presentation and drive sales.
- Coach, train and develop the operations team on operational processes, selling behaviours, performance metrics and company initiatives.
- Support and elevate the client experience through teamwork, service standards and achievement of store goals.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards and store maintenance to create a secure, welcoming shopping environment.
- Manage scheduling reliability and staffing coverage for peak retail windows (nights, weekends, holidays).
- Perform physical tasks as required, including lifting and moving product and stock up to 50 pounds.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in retail operations or hospitality (store-level preferred).
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop store teams to meet operational and sales targets.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving, organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate a goal-driven, collaborative team.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds and performing stock-handling duties.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in retail operations or hospitality, with demonstrable success coaching teams and managing store-level operational processes.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework in business, retail management or hospitality is a plus.
