Sephora Canada seeks an Operations Lead in Toronto to manage store operations, inventory and team leadership at Fairview.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of the assigned store, ensuring all operational processes are executed to company standards.
- Directly manage and coach the operations team, including overnight stock teams and any contracted cleaning or third‑party crews.
- Oversee inventory control processes: shipping, receiving, returns, cycle counts and reconciliation within company timeframes.
- Ensure visual merchandising and on-stage presentation align with brand directives and store standards.
- Manage supplies, testers and sample inventory to maintain appropriate budget and in-store availability.
- Participate in performance management, delivering timely feedback, conducting follow-ups and supporting development plans for operations staff.
- Act regularly as Manager on Duty, engaging with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor to support service and sales objectives.
- Develop and monitor budget strategies, including staffing, payroll and controllable expenses, and provide operational insight to store leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in retail store operations or a similar high-volume retail environment.
- Proven ability to lead, influence peers and provide constructive feedback.
- Demonstrated competency in inventory management, shipping/receiving and cycle counting processes.
- Strong organisational, time-management and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing or coordinating third-party service providers (e.g., cleaning crews).
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years of progressively responsible experience in retail operations, ideally within a high-volume or prestige beauty environment; demonstrated experience supervising or leading operational teams and managing inventory control processes.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary credentials in retail management, business or supply-chain/logistics preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 22.20 to CAD 26.10 per hour.
