Sephora Canada — Operations Lead in Richmond Hill, ON. Full-time role overseeing inventory, visual merchandising and store operations (CAD$22.20–26.10/hr).

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day store operations and ensure strict adherence to company operational standards and processes.
  • Manage inventory activities including shipping, receiving, returns, cycle counts and stock integrity.
  • Directly supervise the store operations team, including overnight stock personnel and third-party cleaning crews; deliver coaching, feedback and performance management.
  • Oversee visual merchandising execution to ensure on-stage presentation meets brand standards.
  • Control supply inventory (testers, samples and consumables) and manage budgeted quantities for the store.
  • Act as Manager on Duty as required; support Beauty Advisors on the sales floor and engage with clients.
  • Analyse store performance metrics to inform staffing, payroll and controllable expense strategies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years' experience in retail operations or a comparable role within a high-volume store environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence peers, deliver constructive feedback and manage performance situations.
  • Demonstrated competence in inventory management practices (shipping/receiving, cycle counts, returns).
  • Strong time-management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret store sales and labour metrics to support budget and staffing decisions.

Experience

Minimum three years of progressive retail operations experience, including team supervision and inventory control—preferably within beauty or luxury retail or a comparable high-volume environment.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary diploma in business, retail management or supply chain preferred.
