Sephora Operations Lead – Full-Time Role in Oakville, Canada. Lead retail operations, manage inventory and staff, CAD$22.20–$26.10/hr plus benefits.
Role & Responsibilities
- Direct management and performance assessment of the operations team, including overnight stock crew and operations leadership personnel
- Lead operational excellence initiatives and ensure execution of all operations-focused processes per company standards
- Oversee inventory management, including shipping, receiving, merchandise returns, and cycle counting within company guidelines and timeframes
- Manage merchandising concepts and visual standards for on-stage displays, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines
- Supervise in-house and third-party cleaning crews, providing feedback, coaching, and escalation as required
- Maintain appropriate budget allocation and inventory levels for supplies, testers, and product samples
- Develop and implement budget strategies with strong understanding of store sales performance and payroll management
- Act as Manager on Duty, engaging with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor as needed
Qualifications
- One to three years' experience in a similar operations lead role at a comparable-volume retail store or equivalent internal experience
- Proven ability to influence peers and deliver constructive feedback
- Demonstrated strong store operations expertise
- Effective time management and problem-solving capabilities
Skills
Experience
Minimum three years of progressive experience in retail store operations, preferably at a multi-brand beauty retailer or equivalent supervisory environment managing cross-functional operations teams.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; retail management certification or relevant post-secondary coursework preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Oakville, Ontario, Canada, with easy access to Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 22.20 to CAD 26.10 per hour.
