Operations Lead at Sephora North York — Full-time retail operations management role in Toronto area store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead all operations-related activities and directly manage the operations team, including overnight stock and leadership personnel
- Ensure execution of all operations-focused processes and procedures meet company standards and completion timelines
- Manage inventory operations including shipping, receiving, returns, and cycle counting within established guidelines
- Oversee visual merchandising concepts and on-stage displays to maintain company aesthetic standards
- Manage in-house and third-party cleaning crews, providing feedback, coaching, and escalation as needed
- Maintain appropriate budget and supply inventory of testers, samples, and operational materials
- Participate in performance management and deliver timely coaching and feedback to operations team members
- Regularly serve as Manager on Duty and engage with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor
- Develop and manage store budget strategies with strong understanding of sales performance, payroll, and controllable expenses
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–3 years' experience in a similar leadership role at a comparable-volume retail location
- Proven ability to influence peers and provide constructive feedback
- Demonstrated strong store operations and execution skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving capabilities
Skills
Experience
One to three years in a similar operations leadership role at a comparable-volume retail store, or equivalent internal experience within Sephora or similar retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; retail management certification or formal training in operations management preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in North York, Ontario, Canada, with easy access to Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 22.20 to CAD 26.10 per hour.
