Sephora Canada (North York) is hiring an Operations Lead to manage store operations, inventory and the operations team. Hourly pay CAD$22.20–26.10.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day store operations and ensure consistent execution of company operational processes and standards.
- Directly manage and coach all members of the store Operations team, including overnight stock personnel and third‑party cleaning crews.
- Oversee inventory lifecycle activities: shipping, receiving, returns, cycle counts and reconciliations within company timeframes.
- Maintain on‑stage visual merchandising and in‑store presentation to company standards.
- Manage supplies, testers and sample inventories to budget and store needs.
- Participate in performance management and development for operations staff; deliver timely feedback and escalation when required.
- Act as Manager on Duty as needed; engage with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor.
- Develop and monitor budget strategies, staffing plans, payroll and other controllable store expenses; provide operational insight into sales performance.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership ability with experience managing and coaching a retail operations team.
- Demonstrated capability to influence peers and provide constructive feedback.
- Strong store operations acumen, including inventory control and visual merchandising.
- Effective time management, prioritization and problem‑solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing retail environment.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years' experience in a similar role at a comparable volume retail store, or equivalent internal experience.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; post‑secondary education in retail management, business or related field preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in North York, Ontario, Canada, with easy access to Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 22.20 to CAD 26.10 per hour.
