Sephora Canada — Operations Lead in Kelowna, BC. Full-time role overseeing store operations, inventory and the operations team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and directly manage the store Operations team, including staffing, scheduling and day-to-day supervision.
  • Ensure operational excellence by executing all store operations processes to corporate standards and timeframes.
  • Oversee inventory management activities: shipping, receiving, returns, cycle counts and reconciliation.
  • Manage visual merchandising standards for on-stage displays and maintain adherence to brand presentation guidelines.
  • Coordinate and supervise in-house and third-party cleaning crews, providing coaching and escalation when standards are not met.
  • Control supply management—maintain appropriate budgets and stock levels for testers, samples and operational supplies.
  • Participate in performance assessment and development for operations team members; deliver timely feedback and follow-up.
  • Act as Manager on Duty as required; engage with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor to support service standards.
  • Support store financial management by monitoring sales performance, staffing and payroll, and other controllable expenses.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years’ experience in a retail operations or store leadership role at comparable store volume, or equivalent internal experience.
  • Proven ability to influence peers, provide constructive feedback and manage team performance.
  • Demonstrable competence in inventory control, cycle counting and shipping/receiving processes.
  • Strong time-management and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise competing operational demands.
  • Comfortable acting as Manager on Duty and engaging directly with clients and sales teams on the floor.

Experience

1–3 years of retail operations or store leadership experience at a similar-volume store, or equivalent internal experience within a retail organisation.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 22.85 to CAD 28.55 per hour.
