Sephora Halifax is hiring an Operations Lead (full‑time) to manage inventory, visual merchandising and the operations team in Halifax, Canada.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day store operations to ensure all processes are executed to company standards.
- Manage inventory lifecycle including shipping, receiving, returns, cycle counts and stock integrity.
- Oversee visual merchandising on‑stage standards and ensure timely execution of merchandising concepts.
- Supervise in‑house and third‑party cleaning crews, providing coaching, feedback and escalations as required.
- Manage supplies, testers and samples inventory and maintain appropriate budgets and quantities.
- Participate in performance management for the operations team, delivering timely feedback and development plans.
- Act regularly as Manager on Duty, supporting Beauty Advisors and engaging with clients on the sales floor.
- Monitor store controllables including staffing, payroll and other operating expenses; contribute to budget strategies.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role at a comparable volume retail store or equivalent internal experience.
- Proven ability to lead and influence peers, provide constructive feedback and drive operational standards.
- Strong time management, organisational and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated knowledge of retail inventory processes and visual merchandising expectations.
- Availability to work retail hours as required by store operations.

Experience
1–3 years of supervisory experience in retail operations or equivalent internal experience in a high‑volume store environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post‑secondary education in business or retail management is an asset.

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 20.70 to CAD 25.90 per hour.
