Sephora Canada — Operations Lead (Full-time) in Edmonton. Lead store operations, inventory and a frontline team at the Southgate store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the store Operations team, including staffing, scheduling and direct performance management.
- Ensure operational excellence by maintaining execution of company-standard processes for shipping, receiving, returns and overnight stock activities.
- Own inventory control activities including cycle counts, reconciliation and adherence to inventory guidelines and timeframes.
- Manage on-stage visual merchandising and ensuring store presentation consistently meets brand standards.
- Oversee third-party and in-house cleaning crews, providing coaching and escalating quality issues as required.
- Control supply levels for testers, samples and consumables and manage related budgetary constraints.
- Participate in performance assessment and development for operations staff, delivering timely feedback and coaching for improvement.
- Act as Manager on Duty as required, engage on the sales floor with Beauty Advisors and clients, and contribute to payroll and controllable expense strategies.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar retail operations or store leadership role, preferably in a high-volume beauty or cosmetics environment.
- Proven ability to influence peers, deliver constructive feedback and manage a frontline team.
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, shipping/receiving procedures and cycle counting.
- Strong time-management, organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to operational detail.
- Comfortable acting as Manager on Duty and engaging with clients and sales teams on the floor.
Experience
1–3 years of progressive retail operations or store supervisory experience, ideally within a cosmetics or high-volume specialty retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary certificate or diploma in retail management, business or a related field preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 20 to CAD 23.55 per hour.
