Sephora Canada seeks an Operations Lead in Edmonton, AB — supervise store operations, inventory and the operations team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day store operations and ensure consistent execution of company operational standards and procedures.
- Directly manage the store operations team, including staffing, scheduling, performance feedback and development.
- Oversee inventory management processes: receiving, shipping, returns, cycle counts and stock integrity within company timeframes.
- Coordinate visual merchandising and on-stage presentation to maintain brand standards and assist with store resets as required.
- Manage third-party and in-house cleaning and overnight stock crews, providing coaching and escalation where standards are not met.
- Act as Manager on Duty as required, supporting Beauty Advisors on the sales floor and ensuring an elevated client experience.
- Monitor controllable expenses and contribute to budget strategies including staffing, payroll and supplies management.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of progressive retail operations or supervisory experience in a high-volume beauty, specialty or comparable retail environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and develop peers and direct reports, including delivering constructive feedback.
- Proven competence in inventory control, receiving/returns workflows and cycle counting procedures.
- Strong organisational skills with effective time management and problem-solving capabilities.
- Comfortable managing operational budgets, staffing plans and basic payroll considerations.
Experience
One to three years of experience in store operations or retail supervision at a high-volume location; experience in beauty or specialty retail preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management or a related field preferred.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 20 to CAD 23.55 per hour.
