Operations Lead at Sephora Calgary – Full-time retail management role overseeing store operations, inventory, and team leadership.
Role & Responsibilities
- Direct management of the operations team, including overnight stock crew and operations leadership personnel
- Lead store operations and execution of all operations-focused processes in compliance with company standards
- Manage inventory control including shipping, receiving, merchandise returns, and cycle counting within established timeframes
- Oversee visual merchandising concepts and on-stage displays to maintain brand standards
- Manage in-house and third-party cleaning crews, providing feedback, coaching, and escalation as needed
- Maintain appropriate budgets and stock levels for supplies, testers, and samples
- Participate in performance management, delivering timely feedback and coaching to operations team members
- Assume Manager on Duty responsibilities, engaging with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor
- Develop and execute budget strategies aligned with store sales performance and controllable expense management
- Demonstrate expertise in store sales performance, staffing, and payroll analysis
Qualifications
- One to three years' experience in a similar operations or team lead role at a comparable retail store or equivalent internal experience
- Proven ability to influence peers and provide constructive feedback
- Demonstrated strong store operations and retail management skills
- Effective time management and problem-solving capabilities
