Sephora Canada is hiring an Operations Lead in Barrie, ON — full-time role overseeing inventory, visual merchandising and store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day store operations and ensure all operational processes are executed to company standards.
- Manage inventory lifecycle including shipping, receiving, returns, cycle counts and stock reconciliation.
- Oversee visual merchandising and ensure on-stage displays align with brand guidelines.
- Coordinate and supervise in-house and third‑party cleaning and overnight stock teams, providing feedback and escalation as required.
- Control supplies, testers and sample inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels and budgetary limits.
- Participate in performance management for the operations team, delivering timely coaching and development.
- Act as Manager on Duty as required, engaging with Beauty Advisors and clients on the sales floor.
- Monitor store sales performance, staffing, payroll and other controllable expenses; contribute to budget and staffing strategies.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of retail operations or store leadership experience in a high-volume environment, or equivalent internal experience.
- Proven ability to influence peers and provide constructive feedback.
- Demonstrated competency in inventory management, visual merchandising and store-level execution.
- Strong time management, prioritization and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work flexible retail hours and assume Manager on Duty responsibilities.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1–3 years of progressive retail operations experience, including direct supervisory responsibility in a beauty or specialty retail environment.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, retail management or related field preferred.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Barrie, Ontario, Canada, with easy access to Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 22.20 to CAD 26.10 per hour.
