Operations Consultant at Sephora Canada, Toronto – part-time flexible stockroom and retail position, CAD$19.20–$22.60/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional and knowledgeable service to clients during store business hours
- Assist in training other cashiers and consultants on Point-Of-Sale (POS) and MPOS systems
- Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization within the cashier zone and throughout the store
- Perform shipment receipt and processing in a timely manner
- Organize and maintain stockroom per company standards
- Process transfers, damages, and testers according to company procedures
- Check in visual elements and communicate missing or damaged pieces to the Operations Supervisor
- Ensure safety and tidiness standards are respected and maintained at all times
- Communicate inventory issues and concerns to supervisors and management
- Ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures
- Participate in inventory control initiatives
- Assist in maintaining Sephora's merchandising concepts and programs to reduce shortage and loss
- Support cross-training initiatives in cashier functions as designated
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Good computer and arithmetic skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Ability to multi-task while remaining attentive to client and business needs
- Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom or warehouse environment. Beginner-level candidates with relevant retail background are encouraged to apply.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent qualification required.
