Operations Consultant (Flex) at Sephora Saskatoon; part-time, non-guaranteed hours, CAD$17–$20/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional and knowledgeable service to clients during store business hours and assist in training other consultants and cashiers on Point-of-Sale (POS) and mobile POS systems
- Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization within the cashier zone while supporting adherence to Sephora's merchandising concepts and participating in shortage and loss reduction programs
- Perform shipment receipt and processing in a timely manner, organizing and maintaining the stockroom per company standards
- Process transfers, damages, and testers according to company standards, checking in all visual elements and communicating missing or damaged pieces to the Operations Supervisor
- Communicate inventory issues and concerns to supervisory staff and ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures
- Participate in inventory control initiatives and cross-training programs, with some consultants designated for cashier functions
- Maintain safety and tidiness standards throughout assigned areas at all times
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proficient computer and arithmetic skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task while remaining attentive to client and business needs
