The Operations Consultant partners with the Operations Supervisor on stockroom organization, merchandise updates, shipment processing, inventory control and store standards, while providing client service and supporting cashier training. This is a permanent part-time position at Sephora’s Cross Iron store in Rocky View, Alberta.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with the Operations Supervisor to maintain stockroom organization and merchandise updates.
- Provide friendly, professional and knowledgeable service to clients as needed during store business hours.
- Assist in training other cashiers and consultants on Point-Of-Sale (POS) and MPOS.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization standards in the cashier zone and support Sephora merchandising concepts.
- Participate in programs to reduce shortage and loss.
- Receive and process shipments in a timely manner.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom according to company standards.
- Process transfers, damages and testers according to company standards.
- Check in visual elements and report missing or damaged pieces to the Operations Supervisor.
- Maintain safety and tidiness standards at all times.
- Communicate inventory issues or concerns to Supervisors, Assistant Managers or the Store Manager.
- Ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures.
- Participate in inventory control.
- Cross-train in cashier functions when designated.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity.
- Good computer, arithmetic and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask while remaining attentive to client and business needs.
- Effective time management, problem-solving and communication skills.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and bend and stretch to stock shelves.

1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity.
Education
High school graduate or equivalent.

The successful candidate will be located in Rocky View County, Alberta, Canada, with easy access to Calgary.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17 to CAD 20 per hour.
