Operations Consultant required at Sephora's Cross Iron location in Rocky View, Alberta. The role partners with the Operations Supervisor to maintain stockroom organization, merchandise updates, and inventory control while providing client service during store hours. Responsibilities include shipment receipt and processing, stockroom maintenance, POS system support, and compliance with company standards for inventory management, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional and knowledgeable client service during store business hours
• Assist in training other cashiers and consultants on Point-Of-Sale (POS) and MPOS systems
• Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization within the cashier zone
• Maintain Sephora's merchandising concepts and participate in shortage/loss reduction programs
• Perform shipment receipt and processing in a timely manner
• Organize and maintain stockroom per company standards
• Process transfers, damages and testers according to company standards
• Check in all visual elements and communicate missing or damaged pieces to Operations Supervisor
• Ensure safety and tidiness standards are maintained at all times
• Communicate inventory issues and concerns to management
• Ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures
• Participate in inventory control initiatives
• Cross-train in cashier functions as designated

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Good computer, arithmetic and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task while remaining attentive to client and business needs
• Effective time management, problem-solving and communication skills
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays

1–2 years of retail or client service experience, preferably with stockroom responsibility.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17 to CAD 20 per hour.
