Sephora hiring Operations Consultant (flex part-time) in Red Deer, AB. CAD $17–$20/hr, stockroom and client service support.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist Operations Supervisor in maintaining stockroom organization and merchandise updates
- Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable client service during store hours
- Assist in training other cashiers and consultants on Point-of-Sale (POS) and mobile POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization standards within the cashier zone
- Support SEPHORA merchandising concepts and programs to reduce shortage and loss
- Perform shipment receipt and processing in a timely manner
- Organize and maintain stockroom per company standards
- Process transfers, damages, and testers according to company protocols
- Check in all visual elements and communicate missing or damaged pieces to the Operations Supervisor
- Ensure safety and tidiness standards are consistently maintained
- Communicate inventory issues and concerns to supervisory staff
- Ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures
- Participate in inventory control initiatives
- Cross-train in cashier functions as designated
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with computer systems and point-of-sale platforms
- Strong arithmetic and organizational abilities
- Capacity to multi-task while maintaining attentiveness to client and business needs
- Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom or merchandise operations capacity.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, with easy access to Edmonton.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17 to CAD 20 per hour.
