Operations Consultant position at Sephora in Peterborough, Ontario—part-time role managing stockroom operations and retail merchandising.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with the Operations Supervisor to maintain stockroom organization and standards
- Process shipments, transfers, damages, and testers according to company protocols
- Organize and maintain the stockroom to company specifications, ensuring safety and tidiness
- Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable service to clients during business hours
- Assist in training other cashiers and consultants on POS and MPOS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization standards in the cashier zone
- Support visual merchandising initiatives and maintain awareness of Sephora merchandising concepts
- Communicate inventory issues and concerns to supervisory staff
- Participate in programs to reduce shortage and loss
- Monitor and check in visual elements, reporting missing or damaged items to the Operations Supervisor
- Ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures
- Participate in inventory control initiatives
Qualifications
- Good computer and arithmetic skills
- Strong organizational abilities
- Proficiency with Point-of-Sale (POS) and MPOS systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands
- Effective time management and problem-solving skills
- Capacity to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 19.20 to CAD 22.60 per hour.
