Sephora — Operations Consultant (Part Time) in Edmonton. Manage stockroom, process shipments and support POS and merchandising in a client-focused retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver friendly, professional and product-knowledgeable service to clients on the salesfloor when required and support training of cashiers and consultants on Point-Of-Sale (POS) and MPOS systems.
- Receive, process and accurately merchandize inbound shipments in a timely manner; maintain stockroom organization to company standards.
- Process transfers, damages and testers; check in visual elements and report missing or damaged items to the Operations Supervisor.
- Support inventory control activities and participate in shortage/loss-reduction programs.
- Maintain cashier-zone cleanliness and presentation; ensure sampling policies, safety and tidiness standards are observed at all times.
- Communicate inventory issues or operational concerns to Supervisors, Assistant Managers or the Store Manager; be cross-trained to perform cashier functions as designated.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of retail or client-service experience, preferably with stockroom responsibilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in a fragrance-filled environment.
- Strong time management, problem solving and verbal communication skills.
