Operations Consultant – Flex role at Sephora Ottawa. Stockroom and merchandise operations, CAD $19.20–$22.60/hr, part-time with flexible hours.
Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and organize shipments in a timely manner, maintaining stockroom standards and cleanliness
- Maintain merchandise updates and SEPHORA's merchandising concepts across the store
- Process transfers, damages, and tester inventory per company standards and policies
- Provide friendly and professional client service during store hours, assisting with inquiries and transactions
- Assist in training other consultants on Point-of-Sale (POS) and mobile POS (MPOS) systems
- Organize and maintain the cashier zone to company standards, including visual elements and displays
- Communicate inventory issues, missing items, and concerns to Operations Supervisor or management
- Participate in shortage/loss reduction programs and inventory control initiatives
- Cross-train in cashier functions as designated by management
- Ensure compliance with sampling policies, safety protocols, and tidiness standards
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom or warehouse capacity
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with computer systems and basic arithmetic
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Skills
Experience
1-2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity. Entry-level candidates with relevant retail background are encouraged to apply.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent qualification.
