Sephora Operations Consultant in Ottawa, Canada. Full-time retail operations and stockroom role at Bayshore location. CAD$19.20–$22.60/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable service to clients during store business hours
- Assist in training other cashiers and consultants on Point-of-Sale (POS) and mobile POS systems
- Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization within the cashier zone and throughout the stockroom
- Perform shipment receipt and processing in a timely manner
- Organize and maintain stockroom per company standards and safety protocols
- Process transfers, damages, and testers according to company procedures
- Check in visual elements and communicate missing or damaged pieces to Operations Supervisor
- Communicate inventory issues and concerns to supervisory staff
- Ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures
- Participate in inventory control initiatives and shortage reduction programs
- Support cross-functional training as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity
- Good computer and arithmetic skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Effective problem-solving and communication skills
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably with stockroom responsibilities. Beginner-level candidates with strong foundational retail skills are considered.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
