Operations Consultant at Sephora Ottawa—flexible part-time role in stockroom operations and merchandise management. CAD $19.20–$22.60/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable client service during store business hours and assist in training other cashiers and consultants on Point-of-Sale (POS) and mobile POS systems
- Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization within the cashier zone while ensuring adherence to Sephora's merchandising concepts
- Perform shipment receipt and processing in a timely manner, organizing and maintaining the stockroom per company standards
- Process transfers, damages, and testers according to company procedures and communicate inventory issues or concerns to supervisory staff
- Check in all visual elements and communicate missing or damaged pieces to the Operations Supervisor while ensuring safety and tidiness standards are consistently maintained
- Participate in inventory control initiatives and programs to reduce shortage and loss
- Ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer, arithmetic, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task while remaining attentive to client and business needs
- Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication capabilities
- Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and to bend and stretch for shelf stocking

Experience
1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, with preference given to candidates with prior stockroom experience.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
