Operations Consultant, Part-Time at Sephora, Ottawa—stockroom and merchandise operations role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional and knowledgeable client service during store business hours and assist in training other cashiers and consultants on Point-of-Sale (POS) and Mobile POS (MPOS) systems
- Maintain cleanliness and organization standards within the cashier zone and participate in shortage reduction programs
- Perform shipment receipt and processing in a timely manner and organize and maintain the stockroom per company standards
- Process transfers, damages, and testers according to company procedures and check in all visual elements
- Communicate inventory issues, missing or damaged pieces, and compliance concerns to supervisory staff and store management
- Participate in inventory control initiatives and sampling policy compliance verification
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity
- High School diploma or equivalent qualification
- Strong computer, arithmetic, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attentiveness to client and business needs
- Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
