Sephora Canada seeks a Part‑Time Operations Consultant in Ottawa (Bayshore) to manage stockroom, receiving and inventory control. CAD$19.20–22.60/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Receive, process and accurately log incoming shipments; ensure timely put-away and merchandising of new product.
  • Organize and maintain stockroom according to company standards to maximize accessibility and loss prevention.
  • Process transfers, damages and testers; check in visual merchandising elements and report missing or damaged items to the Operations Supervisor.
  • Support inventory control activities and participate in shortage/loss reduction programmes.
  • Maintain cleanliness, tidiness and safety in the cashier and stockroom zones; ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures.
  • Provide friendly, professional client service on the sales floor as needed and assist with cashier functions when required.
  • Train and mentor other consultants and cashiers on Point-Of-Sale procedures and MPOS operation; communicate inventory or operational issues to store leadership.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of retail or client-service experience, preferably with stockroom responsibilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive stocking tasks (bending, reaching).
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Strong organizational, arithmetic and time-management skills with attention to detail.

Skills

Point-Of-Sale (POS) MPOS shipment receipt and processing inventory control merchandising standards customer service

Experience

1–2 years of retail or client-service experience, with preference for candidates who have operated within a stockroom or inventory-focused role.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.
