Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain stockroom organization and merchandise updates in partnership with the Operations Supervisor
  • Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable client service during store business hours
  • Assist in training other cashiers and consultants on Point-of-Sale (POS) and mobile POS systems
  • Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization within the cashier zone and adhere to Sephora's merchandising concepts
  • Perform shipment receipt and processing in a timely manner, ensuring accurate inventory documentation
  • Organize and maintain stockroom inventory per company standards and communicate inventory issues to management
  • Process transfers, damages, and testers according to company procedures
  • Check in all visual elements and communicate missing or damaged pieces to the Operations Supervisor
  • Participate in inventory control and shortage/loss reduction programs
  • Ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures at all times
  • Maintain safety and tidiness standards throughout assigned areas

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably with stockroom responsibilities
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with computer systems and point-of-sale technology
  • Strong arithmetic and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask while remaining attentive to client and business needs
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
