Sephora is hiring a part-time Operations Consultant in North York, Canada. Support stockroom operations and client service with flexible scheduling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Partner with Operations Supervisor to maintain stockroom organization and merchandise updates
- Provide friendly and professional client service, assisting with Point-Of-Sale (POS) and MPOS transactions
- Assist in training other cashiers and consultants on POS systems
- Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization within the cashier zone
- Ensure compliance with Sephora's merchandising concepts and standards
- Perform shipment receipt and processing in a timely manner
- Organize and maintain stockroom per company standards
- Process transfers, damages, and testers according to company procedures
- Check in visual elements and communicate missing or damaged pieces to Operations Supervisor
- Ensure safety and tidiness standards are maintained at all times
- Communicate inventory issues and concerns to supervisory staff
- Ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures
- Participate in inventory control and shortage/loss reduction programs
- Complete cross-training in cashier functions as designated
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity
- Good computer, arithmetic, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask while remaining attentive to client and business needs
- Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in North York, Ontario, Canada, with easy access to Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 19.20 to CAD 22.60 per hour.
