Operations Consultant Part-Time at Sephora Nanaimo, BC – stockroom and inventory role, CAD$19.85–$24.80/hr
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain stockroom organization and cleanliness per company standards
- Process incoming shipments, transfers, damages, and testers in a timely and accurate manner
- Organize and maintain inventory control systems, communicating concerns to supervisory staff
- Support store presentation and merchandising concepts across all retail zones
- Provide client service and product knowledge during store business hours
- Assist in training other consultants on Point-of-Sale (POS) and MPOS systems
- Check in visual elements and communicate missing or damaged merchandise
- Participate in loss prevention and shortage reduction initiatives
- Cross-train in cashier functions as designated
- Ensure compliance with Sephora sampling policies and procedures
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of retail or client service experience, preferably with stockroom responsibilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with computer systems and Point-of-Sale technology
- Strong organizational and inventory management abilities
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Physical capability to bend and stretch while stocking shelves
Skills
Experience
1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom or operations capacity. Beginner-level background acceptable with demonstrated retail fundamentals.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
