Sephora Canada in Laval is hiring a part-time Operations Consultant (hourly $18.10–$22.65 CAD) responsible for inventory, merchandising and store operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain warehouse organization and ensure timely receipt and processing of deliveries in accordance with company standards.
  • Manage stock transfers, handle damaged goods and demonstrators, and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Support and apply Sephora merchandising standards: update displays, verify visual elements and report missing or damaged fixtures to the operations supervisor.
  • Deliver professional, courteous customer service on the sales floor and assist during peak periods at point-of-sale.
  • Contribute to loss prevention initiatives and adhere strictly to safety and cleanliness requirements across the store and back-of-house.
  • Assist in onboarding and informal training of cashiers and mobile POS operators; escalate stock or operational concerns to supervisors or store management.

Qualifications

  • Reliable, punctual and able to work a flexible part-time schedule.
  • Physical ability to perform stock handling tasks (lifting, bending, prolonged standing).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational aptitude for warehouse and visual standards.
  • Effective verbal communication and basic numeracy; experience with point-of-sale environments an asset.
  • Bilingualism (French/English) considered an asset given the Quebec location.

Experience

Entry-level (Beginner). Prior retail or warehouse experience is advantageous but not required; on-the-job training provided.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 18.10 to CAD 22.65 per hour.
