Sephora Operations Consultant, Part-Time in Halifax, Canada. Stockroom and merchandise support role with CAD$17.70–$22.15/hr.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain stockroom organization and merchandise updates in partnership with the Operations Supervisor
  • Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable client service during store business hours
  • Assist in training other cashiers and consultants on Point-of-Sale (POS) and MPOS systems
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization standards within the cashier zone and throughout the store
  • Perform shipment receipt and processing in a timely manner
  • Organize and maintain the stockroom according to company standards
  • Process transfers, damages, and testers per company procedures
  • Check in all visual elements and communicate missing or damaged pieces to the Operations Supervisor
  • Participate in inventory control and shortage/loss reduction programs
  • Communicate inventory issues and concerns to supervisory staff
  • Ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures
  • Ensure safety and tidiness standards are maintained at all times
  • Cross-train in cashier functions as designated

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Good computer and arithmetic skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to multi-task while attending to client and business needs
  • Effective time management, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and bend/stretch to stock shelves
  • Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment
