Sephora is hiring an Operations Consultant (part-time) in Edmonton, Canada. CAD $17–20/hr with benefits and career development.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable client service during store business hours and assist in training other consultants on Point-Of-Sale (POS) and Mobile POS (MPOS) systems
- Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization within the cashier zone while ensuring awareness and adherence to Sephora's merchandising concepts
- Perform shipment receipt and processing in a timely manner and organize the stockroom per company standards
- Process transfers, damages, and testers according to company procedures and check in all visual elements
- Communicate missing or damaged pieces to the Operations Supervisor and ensure compliance with sampling policies
- Participate in inventory control and programs to reduce shortage and loss
- Communicate inventory issues and concerns to supervisory staff and maintain safety and tidiness standards throughout the stockroom and sales floor
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom capacity
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer, arithmetic, and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining attentiveness to client and business needs
