Role & Responsibilities

• Maintain stockroom organization and merchandise updates in partnership with the Operations Supervisor.
• Provide friendly, professional and knowledgeable client service as needed during store hours.
• Assist with training cashiers and consultants on Point-Of-Sale (POS) and MPOS.
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization standards in the cashier zone and support Sephora merchandising concepts.
• Participate in programs to reduce shortage and loss.
• Receive and process shipments promptly; organize and maintain the stockroom according to company standards.
• Process transfers, damages and testers according to company standards.
• Check in visual elements and report missing or damaged pieces to the Operations Supervisor.
• Maintain safety and tidiness standards at all times.
• Communicate inventory issues and concerns to supervisors, assistant managers or the Store Manager.
• Ensure compliance with sampling policies and procedures, and participate in inventory control.
• Designated consultants will be cross-trained in cashier functions.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom role.
• Good computer, arithmetic and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask while remaining attentive to client and business needs.
• Effective time management, problem-solving and communication skills.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fragrance-filled environment, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and bend and stretch to stock shelves.

Experience

1–2 years of retail or client service industry experience, preferably in a stockroom role.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 17 to CAD 20 per hour.
